Animesh (Andy) Bhatia, CWS, DPM

Dr. Andy Bhatia graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Columbus Podiatry & Surgery is under the direction of Dr. Animesh Bhatia. He has been in practice for over 15 years, providing medical and surgical solutions for foot and ankle pathologies to the Columbus community across all age groups. He has special interests in the areas of sports medicine and the management of chronic wounds and limb salvage. He currently serves as a wound consultant to over 25 acute, rehab and long-term care facilities in Central Ohio. He is the Assistant Medical Director of the Wound Clinic at the Fairfield Medical Center. He also has a keen interest in research, participates in clinical trials in wound care, and regularly lectures at national wound care seminars.

Dr. Bhatia is a board certified wound specialist, a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association, a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management and a diplomate of the American Academy of Wound Management.

He is active in the community along with his wife and two children and plays tennis, football and volleyball and is an avid follower of Cleveland’s professional sports teams. Dr. Bhatia looks forward to learning the art of ballet dancing from Dr. Dunnan.
