Denis Nam, MD

Assistant Professor

Denis Nam, MD

Dr. Nam received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, and his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.  He completed his residency and a fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, NY.  In addition, he received a Master’s of Science degree in clinical investigation from the Washington University School of Medicine.  He is currently a member of the Joint Preservation, Resurfacing, and Replacement Service at Washington University, St. Louis. Dr. Nam’s clinical specialty is Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement

Dr. Nam’s clinical Interests include Adult hip and knee reconstruction surgery, computer-navigation surgery, partial knee replacement surgery, minimally invasive surgery, revision hip and knee surgery, periprosthetic fractures. His research Interests are Alignment in total knee arthroplasty, computer navigation in total joint arthroplasty, patient-centered outcomes following total joint arthroplasty, unicondylar knee replacement, custom cutting guides in total knee replacement, VTE prevention.
