Jeffrey Niezgoda, MD

Dr. Niezgoda is a fellow trained in hyperbaric medicine and wound care. For the last 15 years he served as the Medical Director of The Centers for Comprehensive Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and the President and Chief Medical Officer of Hyperbaric & Wound Care Associates, Aurora Health Care at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Niezgoda is the President of the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine, a member of the Executive Committee of the American Professional Wound Care Association and an Honorary Life Member of the Association of Military Surgeons. He has previously been a member of the Executive Committee of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society and served on the Pressure Vessel for Human Occupancy Subcommittee. He serves as an honorary member of the Board of Directors of The American Board of Wound Healing and has participated in the creation of the Physician's Certification Examination in Wound Care, the Physician's Hyperbaric Certification Examination, and the Certified Hyperbaric and Wound care Specialist Examination.

Dr. Niezgoda is also the Founder and President of WebCME. He has participated in multiple Expert Consensus Panels and has appeared before Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Food and Drug Administration to provide expert opinion in several areas of wound care. Dr. Niezgoda has lectured extensively both on hyperbaric oxygen therapy and advanced wound care, presenting over 300 podium and poster presentations at national and international conferences. He is a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association and the founder and President-Emeritus of the Association for Bladder Exstrophy Children.
