Katherine Lincoln, DO
Katherine Lincoln is a board certified Family Medicine physician at Central Texas Wound Healing Associates in Killeen, Texas. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Lincoln’s clinical experience spans the areas of family medicine, urgent care, hyperbaric medicine, as well as wound care through the utilization of advanced wound therapies for the treatment of complex wounds.
Dr. Lincoln attended osteopathic medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her osteopathic family medicine residency in her hometown of Binghamton, NY. She practiced Family medicine in San Antonio,TX for 5 years before moving to Central Texas in July 2013. She was then elected to the Board of Trustees to both the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association and the Texas State Chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians in 2010.
Previously, Dr. Lincoln has held esteemed teaching positions at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and at State University of New York Upstate Medical College as an Associate Clinical Professor. Presently, she practices wound care and hyperbaric medicine at the Lampasas Wound Care Center within Rollins Brook Community Hospital and the Metroplex Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine in Killeen, Texas.
As an advocate of advanced wound healing technologies, Dr. Lincoln frequently uses the new epidermal grafting technology to treat her patients, and between all three wound care physicians at the centers in Killeen and Lampasas, over 200 cases have been completed so far, making them experts in the field of epidermal grafting. Her special interests include rural health, hyperbaric medicine, wound care medicine, adolescent medicine, medical education and medical politics.
